Have you ever prayed for a blessing, a break through, growth, advancement, help or direction to fulfill your purpose and then things immediately started to go wrong? I mean like like immediately. Like you spoke some greatness into existence, set your intentions, did some visualizations and then boom! No sooner than you got up off of your knees your phone rings and it’s bad news. Just a ripple effect of stress or drama. Haters came out the wood work left and right. Job became a burden, money became a problem, friends aren’t friends anymore. Sound familiar?

Well sis, let me share the biggest tool for bringing those dreams, prayers, and intentions into fruition.

Stop resisting the struggle. Realize that the struggle is the momentum that leads to the blessing you’ve been praying for. There is no quicker way to move a person than with intense discomfort or unpleasant circumstances. Most times, when we (humans) can pacify a bad situation and make it tolerable we will remain in those conditions rather than seek out something better for ourselves.

Most times when we ask for a blessing or growth, what we are really asking for are conditions that will motivate us to move.

Once I realized that, I started feeling grateful when I asked God for a better job and then my job became unbearable. I knew that it meant that my new position was now ready and waiting for me to apply. God had to make my current environment absolutely horrible for me to seek better and take action. Struggle simply means, NOW IS THE THE TIME TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

-And sis, don’t stress about the haters or negative people in your life. They are weak people that likely have come into your life at a time that you prayed for strength. You see, weak people may celebrate when you’re down and do all that they can to bring you down but that’s because they don’t understand their purpose. A hater AKA weak person’s sole purpose is to bring strength to a strong person’s life. That is the only power that they have. It’s the only possible outcome.

Let me put you on game.

You see, weakness and weak people don’t know strength. People that operate from weakness don’t even understand how to defeat strength because they only know how to operate in weak ways. (Hello somebody!) Weak people don’t understand that by trying to break a strong person down the only thing they are actually accomplishing is revealing areas of “inner weakness” to that strong person. Areas that need to be confronted, loved on, healed, and supported. Once that area of “weakness” is revealed within that strong person, he or she will then do all that they know how to do. They will address it, care for it, and strengthen it. Which only results in this strong person becoming what?! Say it with me… even stronger! Glorayyy!!!

You see, weak people think think they have the power to breakdown and control people. They don’t understand that their only power in a strong person’s life is to further elevate them.

That’s because a weak person expects a strong person to respond to hardship, ridicule, and unfair treatment like a they would by succumbing to it. Why?…. Because weakness doesn’t understand strength but strength knows and understands weakness very well.

Strength is being able to continue moving forward while feeling our weakest. Strength is being able to give love rather than ugliness while hurting. So sis… be thankful for weak people and hardships. Overcoming weakness is what makes us strong.

Hater’s popping up is just a signal that the blessing you’re about to receive requires growth. Nothing accelerates inner growth like outside triggers… In order to address trauma and triggers we must first be made aware of their existence.  Which most times requires us to be triggered. –And sis, most times to be triggered we need a what??? A hater, a toxic person, a negative comment.

We need to change the definition of a hater to: One that unknowingly accelerates growth and the receipt of blessing to the deserving through harsh tactics, manipulation, negativity, and disrespect.

So thank your haters, nay sayers, and struggles. Understand that they are nothing more than tools for your advancement. Their like big ‘ol signs reading “Sis, put on your shoes, it’s time to move!”

Truth be told they’re half the reason you’re successful now! Hopefully this realizations helps someone out there as much as it has helped me. It’s has literally changed my life.

Until next time.

Sparkle babes.
